Needle in a Haystack
Vista, CA
Needle in a Haystack began as a group of family and friends playing together and experimenting with a lot of different styles and instruments. Although they primarily settled on Bluegrass as their favorite genre, they have enjoyed playing and learning about many styles, including jazz, rock and roll, orchestra, Celtic, and even show tunes and TV themes.
Being largely homeschooled and self-taught, these fine musicians embody the spirit of grassroots music, where songs and skills are handed down from one person to another simply by playing together and sharing their ideas and talents freely in a fun atmosphere.
