If you have never attended one of our live events, held the 1st Tuesday of each month at the Round Table Pizza, Washington & Ash, Escondido, CA, you are missing a lively event. No. County Bluegrass & Folk Club is exactly what the name says - bluegrass and folk. We bring some of the finest local bluegrass and folk groups from the region in to entertain. We have been privileged to bring internationally known performers as well, such as Bluegrass Etc members, Wayne Rice and more. sticky icon NEW JAM! Round Table Pizza 3rd Wednesday of each month!

No. County Bluegrass & Folk Club is excited to announce the an acoustic jam. Here are details. Our maiden voyage on
June 18th was such a success, we've schedule a July 16th jam. We had 30+ attendees. All we need are "grinners". This was an all acoustic jam featuring multiple genres.

DATE: 3rd Wednesday each month
WHERE: Round Table Pizza, 1161 E. Washington, Escondido (Washington & Ash). Plenty of parking
TIME: 6:30pm - 9:00pm
HOST: Glen Bailey
COST: $5 (includes pizza & salad) Drinks not included. Glen Baily will be on hand to answer any questions regarding cost. It costs money to run an event & this defrays some of the cost for our non-profit. Thanks for understanding.

sticky icon The Passing of a North County Friend.....Rick Wickland

The Passing of a No. County Friend…

Our bluegrass and folk music community has lost another dear friend & excellent musician. One of the earliest members of the Poway Folk Circle, Rick met and soon joined the Parkside Ramblers as a very welcome lead guitarist/singer. The Ramblers were known for strong vocals, mostly due to Rick's exceptional voice & variety of songs. “Rick was like the glue that held the band together all these years.” He was an accomplished guitarist & loved Swing, both playing and singing lead and harmony on songs like "Pennies from Heaven" . The instrumentalists in the band greatly appreciated that he was always ready and willing to play backup guitar on anything from bluegrass standards, to a fiddle waltz or even gypsy jazz.
